Corona

Corona, Spanish for crown, now known as “Circle City” was founded in 1896 which was named so to honor the city’s circular Grand Boulevard, which is 3 miles around the city. In 1913 this Boulevard was used for car races although now it is a city street. It was once known as the “Lemon Capital of the World” but residential building in the 1980’s changed the landscape. Corona, on the western edge of Riverside County is about 40 square miles, is one of the most vibrant and culturally diverse residential cities in the county. It has the perfect location for easy commuting to Orange County whether driving or taking the Metrolink rail line. The city also has a large industrial section and is home to many companies including the headquarters of Monster Beverage Company and Fender Music which has a museum attached. There are numerous parks, including two skateparks, along with hiking trails in the nearby mountains. Enjoy a day of relaxing at Glen Ivy Hot Springs, at the Dos Lagos shopping center or golf course. There are many shopping and dining options throughout the city. The city has a mix of executive homes, single family homes, condos, townhomes and senior communities on rolling hills. Corona is the perfect spot to call home!!
